Sign-up and Onboard as a Producers

Step 1: Sign Up as a Producer 👉 Click “Sign Up” from the homepage OR Hover over Account → Select Become a Producer You’ll be taken directly to the Producer Registration Form. Step 2: Complete Your Profile Follow the sections on the registration form to set up your Producer account. Producer Information This is the primary contact information FarmToYou can use when reaching out. Note: Producer image is optional. Image Requirements: - JPG, PNG, WEBP - Recommended size: 1000 × 1000 px Need help resizing? 📖 [How to Resize or Edit Image →] Shop Information This is the information customers will see on your storefront. If you'd prefer to have a general area for the Shop Address , you can put a general location. ​​Logo and Banner are required. These help present you to the general public. Image Requirements: - Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP - Logo: Recommended size 1000 × 1000 px - Banner: Recommended size 1200 × 300 px Need help resizing? 📖 [How to Resize or Edit Image →] Finalize Your Registration - Complete reCAPTCHA - Check “I agree to the Terms & Conditions.” - Click Submit Your account will be created, and you can log in to access your dashboard. ​ 3. Log In After registration, you will be redirected to sign in with your email + password to access your dashboard. 4. Explore Your Dashboard Your Producer Portal is now setup, explore and continue the setup process by following the videos and prompts on your dashboard.

How to Set Up Your Payment: Payment Methods

The Business Settings section allows you to configure your store’s financial and shipping setup. Below we'll help you get your Business Settings > Payment Methods setup: 1. Connect your Square or Stripe account. This will allow you to take payments from customers. For wholesale sales you can also accept other forms by putting your remittance in the notes section. 2. **Billing Methods **connect allows us to process our transaction fees. Let's get you paid! To sell directly to customers, you’ll need to connect a Stripe or Square account, both are secure payouts partners that support multiple payment methods. Other Benefits 1. Fast, Reliable Payments - Stripe and Square handle credit/debit card transactions. Payments go directly into your bank account - no waiting for checks or manual transfers. - Customers can pay with multiple options: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more. - Flexible Payouts Choose how often you receive your earnings (daily, weekly, or custom schedule). - Manage refunds and disputes through your Stripe/Square dashboard 2. Security & Transparency You Can Trust - Both platforms are PCI-compliant, which means data is encrypted and secure. - Easy reconciliation with your bank and accounting software with clear transaction reports. - Helps with bookkeeping, taxes, and understanding your sales trends. 3. Making a choice: Stripe vs. Square Payments sync automatically with your FarmToYou orders, making it easy to track what’s been paid, manage reporting, and reconcile your sales. Wholesale-only sellers may use either option and can also offer additional payment methods if preferred. Connect your Square or Stripe Account Don't have an account? No problem! By following the step, you'll have the option to setup an account or connect to an existing account. - Click Connect button - Sign in to your Stripe account or create a new one - Complete the onboarding and verification steps - Approve the connection Once connected, the button will change to Disconnect , confirming the integration is active. Billing Method: your billing details to pay FarmToYou FarmToYou uses your saved billing card to charge transactional fees and any approved services associated with your account. Learn more. - Add and manage your valid credit, debit, reloadable prepaid cards, or account in this section. - You can store multiple cards and set one as your default payment method. Shipping Setup Guide

Why Set Up Shipping First? ✅ Prevent checkout errors - Avoid last-minute issues during customer checkout. ✅ Ensure accurate rates & labels - Your customers see more accurate shipping cost every time. ✅ Save time later – Streamline fulfilment with pre-configured shipping options. Step 1: Open Shipping Settings 1. From your dashboard, go to Business Settings. 2. Click Shipping Methods tabs. How to Configure Shipping Labels Step 2: Enter Your Label Information Fill out the following details in your Dispatching from section carefully - these are used to estimate shipping costs as well as used to pre-fill your shipping labels: - Name – Your business or sender name. - Address – Full return address (include ZIP code). - Phone Number – A contact number for carriers. Step 3: Choose Your Label Type Select the label format that works best for your printer or courier service. Step 4: Save Your Dispatch and Label Preferences Click Save in top right section to confirm and lock in your Label Preferences. Step 5: Setting up Delivery Profiles Business Settings > Shipping methods, scroll down to Delivery Profiles. Select "Add Profile " Step 6: Postage Prices There are two drop down options to select from: - "Let us calculate them or enter fixed prices yourself" allows you to select shipping options across various carriers with competitive rates. - "I'll enter fixed prices manually" is the option to use if you want to customize your own shipping or pickup options. Great option if you have pre-negotiated shipping rates, have a pickup option, or want to negotiate separately. See more about Delivery Services What to consider when deciding your Postage Prices : How you want to charge for shipping? - Weight-based (fairer for heavier items) - Flat rate (simple, same price every time) Free shipping is great for boosting sales, but only recommended for Flat Rate shipping options. If you do Weight-Based, pay close attention to what delivery services you select. Validate Unit Price under Product(s)carefully. Where you’ll ship? - Local only - Nationwide - International (factor in customs and extra costs) Step 7: General Profile Information - Profile name : is internal to serve as a reminder for you. Recommended to describe enough that will be helpful when assigning the best delivery profile during product setup. - Origin zip code: this should reflect the same zip code as your dispatching address to ensure accuracy in shipping calculations and labels. - Processing Time: this is communicated to your customers to set expectations on how long it may take you to process & delivery orders. We recommend selecting or setting a realistic time for you and your team. - Custom Range allows you to set a range by # of days or weeks. Step 8: Delivery Services "Let us calculate them or enter fixed prices yourself" We have provided multi-carrier shipping software platform that provides competitive rates your customers can chose from when making a purchase. The software will use the details provided in the Product Setup > Advance > Delivery section to automatically provide customer with 3 best options. Select which carries you want to work with and shipping services. "Select All" or chose which services you want to provide. - Free Delivery (optional) this is not recommended, but if you chose, you can provide "Free Domestic Delivery" by checking✅ the box in the bottom section. "I'll enter fixed prices manually" Letting you customize your own options such as: Pick-up, Delivery Negotiated Separately, Fixed Price you may have independently negotiated with a Carrier, etc... Delivery Services: - Pickup: customer is responsible for picking up, Producer must provide instructions. - Local Carrier: pre-negotiated rate(s) with Carrier(s). - Other: any other option not clearly classified as Pickup or Local Carrier What you will Charge: - Free Delivery: if included, or negotiated separately (for wholesale sales only). - Fixed Price: pre-negotiated rates. Step 9: Finalize Delivery Profile Once you are satisfied, click "Update Profile." Now your profile is ready to apply to the Products you have available to your customers.

How to Modify Taxes

How to Modify Taxes. Keeping your tax information up to date helps prevent tax discrepancies at the checkout. Follow these quick steps to modify the tax settings on your product. Step 1: Go to Products & Select one of the products - On the left-hand panel, scroll down to Products and click Product List to see all your existing items. - In the Product Name > Action section, click the ✏️ Edit button next to the product you want to update. Step 2: Modify your Tax Amount (%) - Navigate Product Edit > Advance tab > Other Pricing NOTE: Tax Amount(%) is set to 0% by default. - Tax Amount (%) is the percentage of taxes that should be applied to your product. - Wholesale products vs. physical (direct to consumer) products may have different. Check with your local jurisdiction or tax advisor if you are unsure. Step 3: Decide to either include or exclude the taxes in your pricing You have the choice to either include or exclude the tax percentage. This table highlights the calculation that is completed based on your selection. - Included with Product the taxes you owe is included in your Unit Price. If your taxes change, you'll need to revisit your Unit Price and update the Tax Amount (%). - Exclude with Product (recommended) will add the tax to your based price. Step 2: Choose Your Payment Processor - You’ll see options for Stripe and Square. - Click the processor you prefer. Click on "Connect" to Square or "Stripe" depending on whom you use. It will automatically open up the login page to the payment processor of your choice to sign in. ​ Step 3: If you don't already have an existing account - Create a New Account (If Needed) For Stripe 1. Click “Connect with Stripe”. 2. Select “Sign up” if you don’t have an account. 3. Enter: - Email - Full name - Password 4. Fill in business details : - Legal business name - Type of business (Individual or Company) - Country and currency 5. Add bank account information for payouts. 6. Enter: - Email - Password - Business name 4. Add bank account details for payouts. 5. Add personal info (name, DOB, ID number). 6. Accept terms & conditions and authorize Farmtoyou. ​ Step 4: Confirm & Test - After connecting, a confirmation appears in your Farmtoyou dashboard. - Optional: Place a small test order to ensure payments are received. - Your store is now ready to accept credit/debit card payments securely.
